Knitting exploration started recently for us. We are working with both hand knitting and machine knitting as part of this process. Hand knitting poses challenges with standardisation, so alongside it we are finding ways to use handspun and other machine‑spun yarns for machine knitting. We started this work with an angora and merino blend yarn, and for this season we have used that merino–angora yarn to make two sweaters.
